So I was changing the bulb/headlight on my truck and sat the old bulb on top the radiator. While putting the new on in, the old one fell behind the radiator. I was in a hurry and gave a quick look in the area behind the radiator and the fan shroud but didnt see anything. I decided it likely fell in some other crack and didn't bother to keep looking. So I drove like 20 miles, parked and see coolant pouring out. After looking harder, i found what was left of the bulb, mangled, at the bottom of the fan shroud/radiator. So, new rule; don't sit sh*t on top of the radiator and if you drop something, find it. The stupid $8 bulb is costing hundreds for a new radiator......
    Let the ridiculing begin!

That sucks. My old boss was working on a 4runner and put down a can of PB blaster on the intake and the truck was running and it fell into the fan an took out the fan and radiator. Glad it was him and not me.
