Yeah man! Love my Black sand, but damn everytime I see a white I swerve a little on the road, I think my truck is trying to run into it because it's jealous.

Lol. I do like the all black look too. Just seems like its a bitch to keep clean and shows imperfections more.

OP, I definitely think you should think of what you will use it for. Honestly, imo, id go with a short bed, double cab, 4x4. When i bought my 06 access cab, I said to myself, I don't need four doors, thats for families and stuff. lol. Man did I regret that decision. It's just so much easier and convenient. Think long term.. everything else is personal preference.

well i know I'm for sure getting a double cab 4x4 sport. but its the long bed or short bed. I'm only in college, so i don't think ill be using the bed too much. but i like the long bed because imo they look more proportioned. but then again i don't NEED a long bed. decisions decisions..

Well, if you dont need the long bed, id go short bed.. if your gonna be wheeling the short wheel base will be better, better turning and manuevering. I personally don't like the look of long beds, i think they actually look unproportional, but to each their own. You can always get a bed extender of you need the extra foot.

Looked at 2 black trucks. Paint was crap. i love black but the effort to keep clean was going to be way to much for me. Black looks great don't get me wrong but..
Speedway Blue ??? You can't hide in a speedway blue truck. i can walk out of the front door of the shop and i can spot one a mile away.
    LOL

    Now GRAY !!!!! :headbang:

I have a super white dblcab short bed and LOVE IT! It looks so clean and and is good at hiding scratches. IMO short bed looks more proportional, if you dont really need long bed then go short bed man:D Congrats on getting a new truck, happy trails!:burnrubber:

i think I'm lean in towards a white dclb sport 4x4. to all of your short bed guys, do you ever regret getting a short bed? as in not having enough room to load something in the bed?

So far I've had no issues when it comes to loading items in the short bed. I've had a 7' couch and a yard of bark/mulch in my bed with no problems whatsoever. I'd say get a short bed. If you need the extra room every once and a while, you can opt to get a bed extender if needed.

No problems with mine either. Like a few of Is have said, you can always get a extender. Also, have you considered an Off-Road? My speedway blue was a sport. I liked it and all, but my white off road now is the shit. Lol. Love the locker. I debadged, color matched the grill and rear bumper and love it. Hate chrome. But love that locker. Plus the black mirrors and handles give a nice touch of black.

I just got a white crew cab sport with the long bed. I did some research and the breakover angle is 20 degrees stock where the short bed is 21. That and the turning radius can make the SB a little more capable, but with a SB you can't haul most motorcycles or sleep in the bed... unless you are a really little person. For me the LB and sport styling were what kept me out of an Off Road (LB not available). Like everyone else says, what are U going to do with it. That's what matters most, you wont be disappointed as long as its a TACO.
