    The leaking oil. Porsche was associated with Hardley...they designed and built the V-Rod engine. Oil leaks rubbed off on them.

    It's kinda surprising that Fords didn't develop oil leaks with their association. Maybe it's because Ford's association was only marketing, not engineering.

    I've been around 4 Harley's in my life. One that was mine. 1979 Sportster.

    That leaking oil thing isn't an Urban Legend. They allll leaked.

    When I was a kid, an uncle of mine (crazy fucker) used to race motorcycles on frozen lakes. He raced anything he could get his hands on, mostly British bikes and Harleys. In time he switched to BMW motorcycles so he didn't have to carry a tool bag with him all the time to tighten all the loose bolts and re-attach parts that fell off while riding.
