    The 'send a check in the mail' reminded me of when it took 8-10 weeks to get plates.
    Rode around with LAF in the back window because they didn't issue temporary plates.
    I got pulled over a lot and 2/3 of the time it was the same officer.
    Small towns....whatuyya do?

    The forecast next week looks like it's going to be warming up. Hopefully it stays warm and spring shows up nice and early. I think I'll do my first oil change on the 4Runner Monday or Tuesday. Looking forward to getting tax returns so I can order the suspension as well. Also, new poll.

    Wrrrooonnngggg. Lol I made it two and a half years with my Tacoma so this vehicle will make it at least 3! (Also even though I tend to get rid of vehicles quickly I still maintain them like I am going to keep them forever because if I really do keep one forever it would suck to have done poor maintenance and have it start falling apart)

    I know :D That's part of the reason I traded my Tacoma in because I was kind of torture testing it lol. I became addicted to seeing how quickly I could drive off-road and took some pretty hard hits

    This was back in 2018.....
    Our local dealer was invited, with a bunch of others, over to this old horse racing track in MN.
    Toyota turned it into a temporary offroad park where they demonstrated the 3rd gen when it came out.
    He said those guys were beating the shite out of them.

    Sounds like a good job for you.

    It just seems weird that they would have waited 3 years to do a demonstration for local dealers. Not saying it didn't happen, it just seems weird to me.
