I just bought a 2011 TRD Pre-Runner V6. So far I love it. I'm Thinking of installing a lift and bigger tires. Anyone have suggestions as to brand of lift and tire tread style? Are there any PRE-Runner clubs in TX?

Budget is open ended but it's only 2WD so let's be practical.

Since its a pre runner and budget is a not an issue im gonna give you a setup that is pretty reasonable price and also a better ride quality. This is also the setup that im putting in my own vehicle in a couple weeks.

    Maxtrac 4" lift spindles
    Eibach 1.6 inch lift coils
Bilstein 5100s front set at 0
Bilstein 5100s rear shocks extended length
    All pro expedition leaf springs
    Total Chaos UCA
Toytec lifts 1/4inch top spacer for driver side

I believe thats everything. That set up will have you riding like a cadillac and will only set you back about 2800 dollars. Youll have about a 5-5.5 iinch lift in the front and 4inches in the back but since our trucks are already rear high when theyre stock you should sit pretty level. You will be able to easily clear 33 inch tires and probably even 35 inch tires if you do some trimming. Like i said im putting this setup in my vehicle and when it gets done i can post pics of it if youd like. There is also a thread on here about the maxtrac spindles with guys running similar setups and you can see there photos too.

EDIT: As for tires its completely up to you. i personally like all terrain tires since i commute 50 miles to work. I like nitto terra grapplers. My next set will be cooper ST maxx. BFG just came out with there new KO2 all terrain tire which is supposed to be pretty bad ass and goodyear wrangler duratracs i hear are a pretty bad ass tire too.
