anyone have a write up on the wiring side of the sunglass compartment. PS the 2nd gen changed their overhead somewhere around 2010. The guy who made the new panels had a totally different design than what mine looks like. I know im going to slot out the sunglass panel for the 3 ARB switches, front, compressor and rear locker, but I wanna know how to route the wires. And if I have to tear the ceiling out to do so. Was thinking; cut the case, run wire through the pillar and poke a new hole in my firewall? Also, off-topic but anyone have a good place for that compressor!!?

I got the mid level compressor, didn't see that nice yellow hose in a box yet, still at the shop where I bought it trying to find a worthy installer. But im having trouble locating where all of these pictures are on the truck.

you can save a lot of work by getting an S-Pod with adapter for the ARB. You'll eliminate a bundle of wires and make install so much easier. You'll be running one cable into the headliner instead of 6 individual wires, or go with a fancier spod and run no wires. You can also add you lights and stuff, allowing you to get rid of those breakers and wiring mess

ok, makes sense. I live in Canada though where we use heavy amounts of road salt. Anyone mount this in the interior? my truck is caked right now so I would cringe if my compressor got salted

I used the switch pros panel in the Sunglass holder and ran the loom up the A-Pillar into the holder. Didn't drop the whole ceiling just enough to tuck the cables in. Didn't hook up the switch pros to the compressor either, that damn things pulling too many amps I believe anyway.

What's the mid level compressor? Is that the normal one not the twin? The hose I got was a Viair one.

    Bingo
1st is in the driver side bed space above the long cubby
3rd is under bed right below the same cubby

The tire deff clears it. Tank is behind the rear wheel well.

It's mounted with bolts through the bed. I believe I have pics on my build page.

So you can put the tank there even with the spare tire underneath?

Yeah I have the spare under there and the tank. It's not in the spare tire spot just to the left.

Your set up is so cool that I plan on doing the exact same thing, hope you don't mind haha

I might also run an additional line off of the tank so I can power a train horn

It is a cool set up! I can't take full credit though I saw where CBI off road put their gauge and hose there in the cubby and then just kinda ran with it.

Does anyone have an external panel that one could maybe just Velcro onto a desired area?
