In the past, I have searched as long as 7 months, and traveled as far as 1,000 miles, to find the right vehicle. Be patient and don't settle.

It took me two months to sell my DCLB Sport and another six months to find my Tundra and had to ship it from 1,000 miles away. People are scooping shit up left and right and the dealers lots are tumbleweeds right now. Seller's market.

And for the love of god DON'T SETTLE! If you're as picky as I am, wait for the right one to come along or you're going to kick yourself in the ass every time you walk towards the thing. I did that with my Taco (wasn't my first choice of color), now I stare at my Tundra when I walk anywhere near it because I'm in love and it's exactly what I wanted.

    Patience grasshopper..

So right! I looked for over a year for my first Tacoma, and found one with everything I wanted for a good deal. Travelled 500 mi. to get it in Boise. Fortunately, we had an "agent" there to check it out for us.

I looked online daily for over 4 months. I test drove 5, and bought 1 and returned it to the dealer (whole other story).

Finally, I found mine at a Ford Dealership (somebody traded in!). It is a 2008, DCLB with LEER cap and only had 68k miles at the time. 1 owner, former marine who took great care of it.

I was very happy with the price/condition compared to the crap being peddled in Seattle market (we call it the PNW tax).

It was so worth the wait, and I couldn't be happier. Good luck with the purchase!
