IS there anywhere that I can get an in dash engine monitor? One that instals in my dash like the one that comes with the edge programmers for f150? I know that the unichip, urd, apr x1 don't come with them, I just know that they are more accurate for monitoring rpm and mph even with oversize tires.

You could just buy a Scan-Gauge.

There are some pictures floating around on the forum where member "PB" installed it in place of his Temp/Compass display. I'll see if I can dig them up.

Scangauge, Ultragauge, Aeroforce and PLX devices offer an OBD 2 plug in gauge that will read off of the truck's sensors. There is nothing that installs into its own pod on the dash except the Aeroforce gauge. It is the size of a standard aftermarket gauge.

I have an Aeroforce, and like it a lot. You can add extra 2 gauges, like oil pressure, that the engine doesn't monitor. It also does transmission temp for automatics! Woohoo!
