Totally understand the 3d printing thing for design verification, I can not tell you how often I wish I had a large scale 3D printer for design verification, it would save us a lot of time for our normal day to day stuff. As it is for projects like this (where I don't have CAD to start from) I do a lot of best guess and check.

@us3rnam3 PM inbound to you WRT these, I thank you.

To everyone extending best wishes to my family, I am happy to report that we are finally home and for the most part all is well. Little gal is doing well, mom and I are sleep deprived and struggling to get the calories through her but we aren't about to settle for anything less than thriving.

Looks like my buddy who is helping me with these will have something setup and running tomorrow to handle all who are interested.

I thank you all for your patience and support.

They are made and I believe that the provided link maintains a count of how many are on hand and won't let you buy one if they're not in stock. I personally hate paying up front for something that hasn't been made yet so I intend not to do this to anyone else. They will ship within 2 days, we'd try for same day but we need to minimize the number of trips to the post office.

FUCKING AWESOME! I was expecting a couple weeks! I might just get this installed before I go on my trip. (it'll be nice to have my vent back lol)

I never did see... how do these attach to the bezel, and is there any support behind (ie in the dash)?

You have to drill 2 clearance holes for a 1/4-20. Will try to get a set of instructions and pics up soon covering the process. Taking your time, it can be done in 30 minutes. If you've done it before it could be done in 10 minutes

Will one of these ram mounts fit?

looking at the photos on the website, they appear to be threaded. But to your point, why wouldn't a 1/4-20x1/2" bolt work? What is the hole spacing on the mount?

by looking at the pictures I'm guessing a 1/2" long bolt can work but you would need to drill additional holes so the bolt would fit through the bezel.

We wanted the bracket to be as thin as possible and 1/4” is the shortest threaded Ram ball. A longer thread would require drilling more holes thru the bezel.
