Do you have the alignment specs? Sounds like they didn't put enough caster if you're on the firewall with 285's

I am really interested in this as well, I ordered the exact same setup (essentially a stage 3 kits with tubular UCA vs the billet) from ICON about a month ago, but I am waiting until I get my wheels and tries ordered to get everything installed.

The rubbing is pretty gnarly I think the specs are in my glove box and I will throw them on herw tom. Do you have any idea on decent spec numbers? I'm going to get another alignment because I crawled up the cement lcylinder on the bottom of a light pole and the stearing wheel is canted to the right when the truck drives straight.

Should shoot for 2.5-3 degrees caster. I just put my Icon tubular arms on last night, and have the same clearance I had with my LR's. No rubbing (I've already done a chop and pinch weld to clear 35's).

Let us know on the difference (If any) with the uniball vs ball joint. I have LR UCA now and am thinking about going for uniball but not sure there is even a noticeable difference in the two. Would've gone uniball first choice but the price on the LR arms sold me.

Hard to notice any difference really. Haven't been off road yet though. But even that will be difficult to judge since I also put some Radflo extended travels in at the same time. Honestly, I bought the Icons before I found out SPC would send me new replacements. Otherwise I would have kept the LR's.

Interesting...let us know how they handle off road! I have LR and I love em. They just aren't as sexy as a uniball UCA ;)

love the uca's! ive put about 1000 miles on since the lift and everything is still smooth.

im running 285 75 r16 toyo at IIs on stock steel rims and have zero rubbing and didnt trim anything. the icons are still at the factory setting which i believe is around 2" of lift.

    here are my alignment specs...

AWESOME!! This is what I like to see. Glad they are treating you well so far. 1,000 miles so those things are brand new!

Anymore reviews guys? We need more feedback of these UCAs cause they are def one of the least reviewed UCA on TW.

I have about 1,000 miles on mine as well.

the hardest part is getting the uniball to turn, to allow you to get it in place and in the hole.

the long bolts were not an issue for me. came out and went in no problem, little bending but not much.

its a super easy install if your not doing shocks/springs at the same time. Should only take maybe 30 minutes a side for a DIY-at-home guy like myself.

Agreed.. after we did one side we had it figured out and it took about 30mins for the other side. Just a tight ass fit, which is not a bad thing.

Im at about 3,000 miles on these bad boys and have been romping hard on them. Just remember to keep an eye on the torque for all your hardware. I would retorque every thing every 5k and grease for safe messure.

No uni ball noise thus far.
