I took my girlfriend to Universal City yesterday and did some indoor skydiving in a wind tunnel. It was BADASS! Very addicting... I'm already looking at pro-packages lol. The place is called iFly. It's not cheap ($120 for 2 people to fly, 2 one-minute flights)

Anybody have any experience in tunnels?

Check out www.iflyhollywood.com to see if theres a location by you...theres a promo video too..

At that price you should go for the real deal. Check out a drop zone or two and pay attention to their safety practices. Once you feel comfortable that they operate a safe DZ - get some real altitude. If you had a blast at twelve feet, just imagine 12k!

Just looked up a local drop zone.. For $199 you get a tandem jump with 40 seconds of freefall.. Makes sense to pay $60 for 2 minutes in a tunnel..

The tunnel isn't harder, just less forgiving. It shows you how much you are really moving in the sky. You can move 100 feet in the sky, no biggie, in the tunnel, you hit a wall. It is much more efficient to learn new skills in the tunnel vs. the sky. Too easy to learn bad habits in the sky.
