You should get the bigger one and run it straight off the 20lb! Cut out the middle man. Mine kept me pretty warm today.

Do you know how many btu it is? I already have a ceiling convector in the garage lol but I thought about a propane heater to give a boost and then maintain the temperature with the electric one. But those Mr. buddy are close to 200$ here. I don't think it will cost me 200$ in electricity to heat the garage when I work in...

Weird, I went to link you the Amazon page, but it looks like it was deleted. Anyways, it puts out 4,000 btu on low and 9,000 on high.

Yeah that's what I figured. It'd be great for driveway working though!

My friend told me it was smelling a bit. But in the garage with 52k btu I don't mind opening the window a bit while it heat, and when it is hot enough to work just shut it off and keep the heating with the electric one. Will see it is only a plan in my head. I don't work in the garage so often during winter but it would be great to unfreeze the atv and trailer after a ride

I had a little dual heater that clamped onto a propane tank. Worked very well for a 2 car garage. Out in the open it wasnt very powerful though. No longer have it.
