Inesshell bs and lazy af build

Yeah, that's been my priority here lately, eliminating or drastically reducing potential fail points. You'll figure something out I'm sure. Seriously considering a FourWheel Camper in a couple of years, and really want my truck's platform buttoned up so I don't have any (unusual) surprises along the way

 

one of my neighbors has a pair of the fourwheel campers, for himself and his wife. Both ARB'd too and one of them is running that new arb digital LINK system that controls the compressor to raise and lower the airbags

 

I can't afford one, let alone "his and hers"

 

yeah, they're pretty pricey, starting at 15k

 

Also build! I just purchased a 2015 4x4 TRD Offroad. Love how your truck turned out. I had a ARB bumper on my previous 4runner not sure I should get another ARB for the Tacoma.

 

depends what your needs are for bumper, arb is big but its very easy to work with in fitting a large number of winches and lights.

 

Yeah not sure I should go with lightweight aluminum pelfreybit with full hoops with this build or ARB again. Love the iconic look of the ARB’s.

 

alumn is light for weight but if you plan on using the truck, ive seen a few not survive some trips

notice the bowing, i might weld some 3/16 between the gap to act as support guides like we originally had on the air bag plate

@Fox2011PM thanks again for all your help and ideas, would have never thought of getting rid of the airbag's extra hardware.

@Fleabag dont think the double can hold your maddock unless you point it the other way, it clamps down pretty snug tho

 

I think I will do singles like you have there and it will allow me to space them for the best fit, thanks for the followup!

Dude I can’t believe those plates bowed on you. That’s some thick ass steel. But the way they had to be made in order to fit over the leafs does allow the upper corners to be stressed pretty easy.
