Inesshell bs and lazy af build

people complain about it, I find it therapeutic from the normal thrashing and grinding lol

 

Yeah it was nice to sit inside and work on something rather than outside wrenching. Plus I got to play with my new butane microtorch soldering iron.

 

I love wiring. Speaking of which I need to redo some of mine. I bought some cheap wire loom off Amazon and its melting and cracking. The wire is fine so I think it's just junk loom. This is ran along with the factory harness about 8 inches from the exhaust.

You're not trying hard enough. This is probably single digit percent (yellow = dirt/gravel) of what is in our immediate area.

also i got chased down and booted off the trails running behind estacada to hood area. they ticketed a bunch of people that day but the snowmobile guy told me to turn around before it was too late

Is that telephone wire?

 

Some CAT5 cable, so computer wire. Worked perfectly for what I needed it for, extending the rear abs harness.

 

Direct plug and play?

 

I tore my OEM harness, so I bought an aftermarket one, cut it in the middle, added about 5” of wiring and buttoned it all up. Requires cutting, stripping and soldering.

Only reason I did it is when the truck is on a 2 post lift and the whole axle can droop, the wiring is tight. I have a relocate and 12” shocks on the way so it’s only gonna get tighter

 

Ahh. Something i need to think about too. I have the relocate, just need to get the shocks

 

unbuild continues, pulled the arb signal/parking light harness, winch solenoid etc.
