I could just ask them, but I’m gonna ask you instead lol I’m sure you didn’t pay full price, judging by how you worded your post, but do you know what retail is?

Time to DIY with some cardboard!

One thing I am seriously going to consider though is the stoptech 6 piston big brake kit. I want to throw my ass through the windshield when I hit the brakes.

it saved me a few times in sudden stops in traffic....utah has shitty drivers and shitty roads with stupid speed limits lol imo. but other than that 90% of the time oem brakes will do the job fine. how you break in the rotors and pads makes a huge difference in performance-- make sure you throw on some shitty tires because i fucked the front sets when doing all those 0-60-0 stops

from what i read, those who have the off road models have difficulty bleeding theirs, its a random toss actually because i know a few who bled them fine but had abs issues. the brake booster is picky if its lost enough pressure/fluid during the swap so just a heads up.

That’s good to know. I could probably get away with oem, but my rotors/calipers are still original I believe, and the calipers drag a little. So if I’m gonna be replacing it all, may as well go balls deep and really replace it all. And I have an SR5, so that’s good at least.

i have the bigger brake booster too so that might change things up for those just swapping calipers.

also another thing i didnt look into when i went 6pot was the cost to replace pads and rotors....costs can be 2x-3x depending...lol

I dont check my truck build often so this is delayed.

I have not had any issues with any of my lsk stuff. I wash and lube them every trip

By chance, what's the lightbar you have in your front bumper? I'm looking to get an amber one as well that matches the color to some Baja SAE amber fog lights in a front bumper that's coming for me.
