Hello All! I am writing this because I seem to have hit a dead end with trying to purchase an inexpensive cat back intermediate pipe/muffler/tailpipe exhaust. I have an 03 2wd 2.4 5 lugger. I had purchased on Amazon the bosal 295177. After installing everything fit except the tailpipe hanger. It was about 4" too short. I attributed this to my ride being a 2wd. I already sent it back but am having trouble finding something else to replace it. The truck is 15 years old and I'd like to keep prices low. I just want a stock sound and stock hanging locations. If anyone has any suggestions I welcome them all. Thank you for your time and look forward to hearing from the community. Thank you

Just goto a muffler shop and have them bend something up. If you want it cheaper then buy your own muffler and tip before going. Also stay below 2.5” exhust and it stays cheaper

Thanks Sperrunner. I am taking it to my mechanic and he's going to lengthen the tailpipe so the hanger will match.
On a side note, Sperrunner, I just wanted to say thank you. Through reading your posts and replies, I have learned a lot from you. You are one of the few people whose info I trust on these 2.4, 5 luggers, especially on suspension issues. Now do one on front brakes/rotors and wheel bearing and I'll be set!

I just saw the brake/rotor/wb info on your build page. Man, is there anything you haven't done?

Wheel bearings are pretty simple if you have access to the right tools. If not just but a new hub, oem from camel back is 190$
