inferno color

I was wondering if anyone knew where i can get some paint to match my truck..i have a front license plate. I want to paint it and maybe the radio bezel..need something close to the inferno and I've looked everywhere...might already be a thread on this but i haven't seen it

Did you try the dealership? Maybe they have some. I know Honda sells matching paint in case you get scratches. Possibly Toyota does too.

 

no not yet..i thought about plastidip..i used it on my grill but nowhere around me carry that one id like to have

 

I'm buying the inferno bezel to replace my grey one here, but the smaller bezel is on back order:

Take it from a recently retired lawman, like Smitty said its illegal. In many states you can't even have your plates enclosed in clear plastic let alone painting them. Front, back makes absolutely no difference.

 

Toyota has a paint pen, I picked it up from my local dealership.

edit: nvm you would need more than a paint pen for a radio bezel/ license plate

 

Find a auto parts store that can mix paint or a body shop that mixes their own paint. I was rearended in my inferno last month and the body shop that fixed it mixes their own paint. Mixed me a extra 1/2 pint to use as touch up. It is a exact match.

 

It's not for a state license plate. I know it's illegal. The license plate says Tacoma. It's the wrong orange so I need to paint it

I had trouble finding timberland mica in an exact match for my truck but found it here. Its an enamel base coat and then u spray clear over it. I repainted my whole right front quarter panel and also painted my radio bezel and it matches perfectly.

Havent tried the inferno orange off this site, but i know they have it as i looked at it on there for the 2015s. Might be worth a shot!
