Okay, so I’m getting star cracks in my glass fenders from rock hits from the inside. Front and rear fenders. There’s no inner lining at all, front fenders or bed sides. What are you guys using to stop the star cracking? This is my daily and it’s actually a very nice truck, so I need to find a way to stop it. I was thinking thin foam layer or spray on bed liner? I really didn’t want to have to make some kid of plastic liner but I may end having to. Ideas?

My shop before I got my front fender installed sent them to Line-X to have the inside of them sprayed. I haven't had any issues with them yet, but still haven't been on the truck for to long.

That's actually not a bad idea. I just bought some FiberWerx fenders and I think I want to do the same now.

That’s what I’m leaning towards. But I’m looking at the home kits. Not the roll on but the “decent” sprayable kits like U pol

I applied 3 coats of bedliner on the inside of mine before having them color matched... Might be able to use a heat gun to mold a plastic liner for additional protection

Did both my front and rear with home depot bed liner rolled on. Could be sprayed on too. I think it helps for sure. That stuff is a rubber compound so I think it definitely dead ends the blow.

Looks good, just not sure I want to
Put that much effort into it. Maybe though...
