I recently bought this new unit and I'm wondering if I could get some help/tips on the install. I have an 09 Tacoma w/ JBL system.

I could use some help with the following:

    1. How do I wire the e_brake (light green wire) to a toggle switch? Grounding the wire will not enable me to view DVD's.

    2. Has anyone added an after market amp to this JBL system along with a new unit? Is there a lot of rewiring needed? Any wiring schematics available that can help me?

    3. I heard there was a wiring kit needed for this JBL system and Pioneer DVD decks? Is this true?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you ever get this item installed?

Well i got my new stereo installed today, AVH-P6000DVD, most amazing, i bought the following:
    Bluetooth Phone adapter CD-BTB200
    Ipod Adapter CD-IB100II

While i was at it, i installed a Homelink in the headliner.

Th pioneer stuff is really nice, especially for the price. $700 for all of it. Now i gotta get some Focal Speakers and an amp and i good to go. I would do a sub, but i cannot bring myself to sacrifice all the wonderful storage in the truck. My old truck was 97 Taco, and it did not have near the space as this one but will we see.
