Installed 2011 Color Matched Grill

    I found a decent deal on fleabay for a Silver Streak grill and bought it up. After I removed the 2 screws and 2 plastic grommets I was a little apprehensive of just pulling up with some force to get the grill loose like I saw most everyone else posted. I looked behind the grill to see where it was still attached and saw two little tabs(One on each side). I pushed the tab in with my finger and lifted one side of the grill and it came up with little effort. Excited about my small discovery I did the same thing on the other side and the grill was free! lol anyway pics below...

    Yea i noticed it was slightly off but i kinda figured it might be. Just the nature of the beast i guess, from what ive read metal and plastic color matching wont be 100% anyway and being used it might be a different shade due to any number of factors. if it bugs me too much ill just swap it back, lol.

    Nah don't swap it back man, it looks way better and yeah plastic and metal don't leave the same finishes

    I have the same color truck and have been watching for a chrome grille. To bad we didn't hook up eariler and work a trade. Would you want to sell the chrome grille?
