    anyone have the front plate bumper with an xrc8 winch?
    does it have to be clocked???

    the freespool handle does it have to be moved from the top position in order to work it?

    not sure what you mean but when i got the XRC8 the free spool handle was on the right side of the winch, kinda hard to see in this pic but you could reach through the right cubby hole (driver side) and pull the lever either way

    oh an dont mind the wires, i dont have it hooked up yet because the cotroller cant be mounted where the instructions say so I have to move it under the engine bay and was waitign for some #4 wire which i acquired today

    yea lol i had no 16 guage wire for the controls, I'm going to drill a hooe and mount the input for the controller in the cab somewhere, not sure where yet but ill find a spot tomorrow/

    Thanks for posting that pic with the xrc8, that's the winch I am getting once I replace my 3rd member with new 4:56's next week!

    my only complaint, well it doesn't look bad up close but if you look at it from at angle the corners seem to stick out more but it grows on you I suppose lol.

    Yeah check the build thread, I installed the bumper then the winch, I suggest the other way around, it will save a headache lol.

    Oury had the bumper made wider than normal. His reason is so he can run tube from the corner of the bumper to the sliders. Pretty much more body protection.

    That is an awesome idea. I've actually thought about doing something like that for the rear of the truck (bumper to sliders)
