They're the stock TRD Pro seats. Incidentally before I switched to the Pro I ordered some Clazzio leather seat covers with red stitching if anyone's interested (brand new, never used)...

You can't fool us, we know those are take-offs from the "Seattle Tears" (Dominatrix vs. Gimp) Edition.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
I would very much like to do this, but...
    A) I don't sew by hand, though I have tried (sewing machines are okay, though, but that doesn't help here).
    B) It seems as though hand sewing is one of those skills my brain has a lot of trouble learning (can't lace paracord, either).
    C) I don't have a lot of patience.

How may pieces does this kit come in? Is it possible to do one section (say, the lower, 6 o'clock part) as many times as it takes to get it right and then move on to another section? ...or does the whole thing have to be done in one session?

If it's all one piece, what are the chances I could secure the unfinished sections with cable ties and still drive safely (just a thought).

i got the kit and haven't installed it. it comes in several pieces so i suppose you could do a section at a time, but you'd want to check their vids to be sure.

Damn, I'm really debating if I want red stitching on the inside or go all black... decisions decisions!

It comes as one piece. Could probably do one section at a time and use zip ties to temporarily secure the rest. It does take a little bit a patience to get it right but I think it's worth the effort.

I just tied a double or triple knot and thread it through one of the existing holes from the inside then looped it across and back a couple of times to secure it. I did use double thread although you could just use single like the instructions suggest.

That cover really looks good, certainly an accessory that should have come in the Pro trim.

There are certain things I can’t be bothered with anymore. Changing the leather wrapping on the steering wheel being one of them.

My one thought about the red stitching is that it would show off my crappy handiwork much more than the black.

Haha, I didn't think about that! As for right now, I only have the red stitching on my TRD Pro knob... not sure if that's enough to warrant an entire steering wheel worth of red stitching!
