Hey guys just bought and installed a race radio and antenna now everytime i go to key up the mic the bass on my subs go off whenever im listening to music. I have the race radio directly connected and grounded to the battery and have my antenna mounted on the roof with a magnet. For sure i know that this aint normal as my subs never did that before the installation of the radio.... anybody have any idea of what is causing this and how to fix it?? Thanks

    Joel

Mine does it too. The antenna and antenna cable are too close to the sub, it's interfering with the magnetic field in the sub and electronics.

So the only fix is to re wire the antenna cable so its not by the subs and the amp?

Yeah. The radios has a very powerful interference with electronics. My 2m/race radio also interfere with my CB. It causes the cb to spaz out as well.
