This is the color code/pin out for the stereo wiring harness. Keep in mind that these wires are spread out among several connectors, and not how you'd think (i.e. the rear speaker wires are on a different connector than the front speaker wires). Good luck.

    ¹ Without Power Windows.

² Applies to Regular Cab and Double Cab models only. Rear speaker wires are on a different connector than the front speaker wires

There IS NO Remote or Power Antenna output from the Non-JBL head unit. You must wire your amp remote inputs to the switched 7.5 amp fuse in the driver's side fuse panel. I used a "piggy back" fuse/power takeoff for this AND my radar detector power, so everything turns on with the ignition key... no transients or "thumps".[/FONT]

Crutchfield provided it with my crossover & subwoofer. Their "master sheets" are second to none.

I used the cable that apoteker found for the back of the headunit
Combined with the USB write up here:
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/audio-video/103041-how-tundra-usb-stereo-input-tacoma-aftermarket-head-unit.html

Also, don't waste time taking all the plastics off like they did in the write up ^^. I used a small flat head and gently pried the blank out.

First, here's a shout out and thank you for all of you who are doing the work and posting what you do. It is very much appreciated.

Here's a question for you. I got a 2013 JBL/Entune and I want to replace the headunit in my 2012 Double Cab, standard radio (Satellite radio, but not JBL). Even after reading your post(s) I'm not sure if the 2013 hu is the same as a 2012/2011 JBL/Entune system. Does anyone know? I meant to take a picture of the back of the head unit, I just haven't had the time yet.

    Thanks,

Why would it take so much $$ to swap an Entunes into a pre-2012 JBL? I've read the entire thread and would like to do this swap.

What physically needs to be modified on the truck/dash in order to fit the entunes in a pre-2012 dash? I saw various mentions of trimming and dash kits.

The original post has been edited a few times. Jerez was originally checking the fitment of the non-touchscreen head unit; it required some trimming to fit.

The touchscreen head unit does not require any trimming.
