I just ordered a new amp and speakers for my Tacoma. Is there anywhere like Crutchfield or another company online that I can order speaker wiring harness adapters to make the speaker hookups more plug and play? Make any sense? I will be using the OEM HU speaker outputs to the amp and then, here is where I want plug and play, running new speaker wire to each new speaker.

So there is not a factory plug for speaker output that is the molded connector on one end and just wires on the other and then vice versa? Wires on one end and a molded connector on the other to feed the factory speaker harness? Or is that the custom harness referenced above?

I am sure I am making this much harder than it is…

local stereo shop wants $500 to install a 4 channel amp. Damn amp only costs $280… Hertz HCP4 in case anyone was wondering…

    Hi,
you can go that route too, I know METRA has the adapters. Try to enter your car info at CRUTCHFIELD, and check for the adapters, pretty sure you will find what you looking for.

You think that's to much? I don't. Especially if they have to run all the wires, feeds, speakers, etc..

By the time everything is said and done, do you think they cleared $100. profit? I don't. After rent, wages, insurance, utilities. There isn't much left for profit.
