Hi. Can anyone tell me how difficult it is to remove the dash panel to put new faces plates for the speedometer, tach, etc.? I have a 2000 Tacoma 2-door. Thank you.

Here's what I am looking at if I can install it.

I’ve had that cluster out a million times. Probably <5 bolts for the lower dash trim, 2 or 3 screws for the cluster trim, and 4 or 5 bolts for the cluster itself.

Takes five to ten minutes max. Be careful separating the lens from the cluster body, you might crack a tab.

It took me longer than five to ten minutes. But I've only done it once. The hardest part was, as I recall, the interference between the dash and the cluster. There are writeups about it and they show all the trim pieces you have to remove and how to do it.
