hey, I have 2000 taco 2.7, manual transmission, with a rolling odometer and speedometer only. I want to upgrade to a cluster with a tach. What will plug and play? I have read some of the posts but am still a little confused. any help would be appreciated

I did it. Easy Peasy- plug and play (as long as the cluster is from a 4cyl manual truck.

Just make sure your donor truck matches engine displacement and transmission type.

Remember, mileage follows the cluster. So your mileage will match the donor truck and not your truck. There’s no simple way of changing this. Although I have seen services online.

You will want a 1998-2004 cluster as those trucks used a digital speed sensor.
