That's what I'm hoping for! Plus, money is tight, just ended up with a couple hundred dollar repair bill for the Tacoma (nothing serious, just unexpected)

I know, I know... need more skinny pedal

    Bingo. :)

3,000 rpm in 5th gear is 90 mph. What would I need above that?

It's likely that if the torque curve is higher where the run starts at 3,000 where the run starts it is also higher below that. I would like to see just exactly how much and where.

Show that with definitive before and after back to back dyno runs...

...and the spacers will sell like hotcakes. :)

That's nice of you to offer to help him out. :)

...and maybe get a low cost spacer or even a free one for your time and trouble... ;)

x2. If you want to market a product for low RPM gains, you gotta show that it gives you low RPM gains. I would imagine that would sell quite well to daily drivers and people who tow.

Finally got a hold of Redline Performance dyno shop. They are busy this weekend as they are doing a benefit for a family that lost a member to cancer. The tech will be calling me back to make a schedule for a Saturday. Who ever is interested in attending Lmk. I am in Asheville, NC which is way on the western side of NC. Will need a test truck for the runs.

Also hoping someone knows how to disable the ABS brakes or other things that may limit the runs. I am not as familiar on this truck as I am my own, so any pointers to do before the run are appreciated. Should we reset the ECU before the "before" and "after"? So there is no " learned" driving habits in the Ecu?

If you're trying to cut all variables you should probably reset ecu before the "before" and before the "after" runs IMO. A manual trans truck is also probably a necessity to get the low rpm numbers...

Did your CNC guy get the green light to start cutting these for us who paid?

Thanks for the continued work on this OP!

I know the ABS bypass switch just interrupts one of the ABS wires, but can you just pull the fuse?

You don't need to disco any ABS systems, or reset the ECU. Do a few stock baselines, then add the spacer, and do a few runs. Same day is best, to ensure matching test conditions. As mentioned earlier, temp, humidity, etc., all play into the readings.

Does touching myself inappropriately play into the readings?

No, but feel free to do so in the privacy of your own home. Try not to scare any of the local wildlife

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Dunno how the dyno guy will feel about that.

It's the perfect kind of performance enhancing product:

    It's simple to install.
    It has no moving parts.
    It's inert.
    It never wears out.

    Do this.
Then remove the spacer and do a few runs. This proves that any change was from the spacer and not something inadvertertly done in the process. If the truck does not return to the pre-test condtion, then the test is inconclusive.

Anybody who runs an intake manifold spacer on a 1GR-FE will get a nice boost in low-mid range power. You should be able to really notice the difference as soon as it's installed, assuming it seals up properly and adds enough length to the runners.

I know because I made my own and have been running it on my truck for months. No other bolt-on engine mod even comes close, especially in the low-mid range.

By the looks of it, the only real differences between mine and this billet one are material and weight. Mine is a modified Toyota manifold, so it's a composite material and is hollow - which makes it significantly lighter and cooler than aluminum.
