    Oh boy...
I do have a question. So in the install i wasn't able to put the screws in to hold the intake manifold to the block. dont know if anyone else had that happen. and if anyone else is getting a buzz in the engine. i figure its kuz the mounts are tapping at certain rpms making a buzz i dunno. Just curious i kinda like the sounnd (made my throttle body whistle louder :p almost sounds like a diesel) .

or if the noise was comming from my stupid 13mm socket that i lost in the engine bay.... its still in there i guarantee it.

You should not be allowed under the hood of a vehicle...

    Go find your lost socket.

Do you have an extension on a magnet? I would try that before removing the headers.

    Oh boy...
it rolled on one of the back hoses under the runners. tried a magnet, and i used an optical line to find it.... i literally have to take off the heads at this point.... i know it wont cause any damage its just annoying to know its there. it cant be sucked in anywhere, everything is sealed tight. it could possibly fall out one day on some intense off roading maybe. seriously, i wanna kick myself for buying crappy tools

You should drop a set of short tubes in there while you have the heads off :D

Yes, you can do that without taking off the heads... but while you're tearing shit apart, why not use that as the excuse to add more parts :notsure:

I've got a 6 speed, if someone will buy the spacer and pay for the dyno run I'll be glad to try it out. :cookiemonster:

Actually how much does a dyno run cost? I never bothered to check my other Toyota truck or Land Cruisers when I had them.

I only painted the valve covers, not the heads :)

Even if you take the valve covers off, you would still have to take off the intake manifold to get your socket :(
