Hey guys. Been reading all night following all that's been written about the remake of Tooter's spacer. Who do I contact to get one of these? Any help would be appreciated. From what I have read, someone has started up production again. Thanks, Binny

Is this the same as a throttle body?

No. This is a spacer that is placed between the cylinder head and intake manifold.

Throttle body spacer is at the other end.

Excuse me. Not making more torque. Really just shifting the torque band to a lower range on the scale. I did this on a BMW r1150r years ago by changing the intake tube length and diameter. Very different feel with the bike. According to old post, makes a noticeable difference in the I4 Toyota. My wife always busy my stones that I can never leave my vehicle alone. LOL.

Someone was put them back into production by limited supply and on demand order years ago. As one of those people have contacted me and said they were for gen2. I have two messages left with companies about purchasing intake flanges. I guess I'll see what happens. Does not sound promising. I would like to confirm with someone that gen2 spacer would not fit gen1. My knowledge is not that extensive. That's why I am trying to get some input from these gurus from years ago.

Thanks for the response. My truck is first gen. Eight hole not four. I had a spacer made from a guy that makes the racing manifolds. I am still gathering parts and will probably do this next week;with new multi hole injectors, EGR block off kit, lce throttle body spacer, and manifold spaced out 1.50 inches. I should be fine. This is my daily driver and runs much better and stronger with headers, deckplate mod, and high flow air filter, and bosal 50 state legal cat. I am sure I will feel enough to be satisfied. Thanks for answering.

1st Gen had both 8 and 4. Are you going to post the results here or do you have a build thread? I'd like to see :D

I will let you know when I do it and show you pix. Right now going through a little flare up with my back. Hoping for next week to do it. What might stretch me a day or two will be after I get it apart, having to get longer bolts/studs. Don't know what I will need until I get old ones out. I will be in touch.

One other thing. After this is done, I am eyeing the URD MAF Calibrator. $210. This should complete the mechanics of what I want to do.
