I would be happy if someone offered a boxed shackle mount, but a flipped mount would be even better.

I think what some people are missing is that the flipped shackle works well (or best) when combined with bigger, longer, custom valved shocks, custom shock mounts and custom springs.

Generally people buying a shackle flip kit aren't going to be running "long travel" (i.e. spring under axle) because they are more concerned with droop (i.e. rock crawling) and not with total travel numbers. Where as Mike, at Defined, offers a kit that runs SUA and gets great travel numbers while keeping the stock shackle mount.

I think the shackle flip kit is going to allow for more options in suspension, that many people don't need, but once it's out there people will be taking their trucks to a whole new level.

    Interested.

If I understand this right this will give me 1-1.5'' rear lift without stiffing the ride like an aal and without risking axel wrap. Is there a downside to this that I am missing?

I'm gonna have to say that I'm interested too awaiting the proto pics... any more ideas of the pricing? I think itd be great to have more droop since I'm not going long travel (yet), though I wonder if I'd have to get new shocks again...I just got longer 5100s. I'd prolly add 1" shackle to my 3" leafs to level out with the front.

If it stays under $200 shipped I'm sure OP can sell them. Even cheaper?

I'm not sure how much lift if any is going to come out of this. I'm expecting less than an inch.

The longer 5100s will definately help, but don't forget about brake lines if you haven't got them yet. You don't want them to be your limiting straps.

Figured you would. I'll keep you posted towards the end of the week.
