You will not have a big choice on shocks, 10" is about perfect with expo leafs.

Any recommendations on an extended travel rear shock to use with this flip kit? I'm running the full OME 3" suspension with the Dakars. I'm fairly certain that the standard rear OME shock will be the limiting factor now.

    50T?

Working on some shock options now. Looks like an 10-11" shock is going to be about perfect.

Glad to see someone else trying to tackle this. There's lots of geometry challenges in there to get it just right. I'm curious though, why all the extra holes in the bracket both where the shackle bolts in and where it bolts to the frame?

This ^^. Provides for a TON of mounting locations... As was stated you can flip 'em and mount them on the opposite side and get even more mounting locations...

The shackle flip that grows with you!

Yea that's what I was assuming, only problem is you can't put the shackle in one of the forward bolt holes because then it can't lay flat under compression. It will hit the bracket, and it's hard to say from the pictures but you can't move the bracket back much or it will hit the bumper brackets which would void those holes as well. Just curious if he had tested for all those things. That's a big part as to why ours isn't back out, just so many variables to work through that eats up some much time and resources. I bet I've got 5 different versions sitting on the shelf, each one an improvement over the last but still issues that prevented it from working perfect.

Yes it's for adjustability. The bumper bracket would need to be trimmed very little to move it rearward. Not enough that it will affect any structural stability of it. With stock springs, there is no need to move it back. The additional shackle mounting holes are more for when a longer spring is used and they're flipped the other way. The first two holes aren't really usable in this configuration unless you're going to a shorter spring, which I haven't seen anyone do and I doubt anyone will. There's a few tweaks before it goes to production to address these issues.

Looks good dude nice solid welds definitely overkill for a shackle hanger but that's a always a good thing :D

If you 4wheel, probably. I wouldn't flex the suspension out in the rear if I was on blocks anyways...

Most people that do block lifts know they're just for show - and if you actually wheel with them, you will probably damage the suspension...

The shackle flip itself shouldn't actually effect the blocks one way or another tho. I was more stating in general.
