Newbie to the forum, owner since 2000.
My new-to-me 2015 4 door V6 does not blow well for interior heat, compared to my recently departed 2000 4-banger. The first 2 settings on my fan barely register any airfow and I always have to go to 3 or 4. I've changed both air filters. Is there somewhere else in the system I can unclog (found lots o nuts under/inside front wheel wells when i added splash guards) or do I just get used to it?

How bad was the cabin air filter behind the glove box? You could inspect the blower directly below that to make sure nothing has fallen down in there

Its also a pretty easy job to pop the plastic cowl off around the wipers and check for obstructions like a bunch of leaves or something

Had a couple of pin oak nuts and leaf detritus on the filter. I'll look back in there. And contemplate looking under the cowl.
Is there a link to HVAC system for tacos? I'd like to educate myself.

There are some threads on here that talk about the servo motors, mixing doors, and all that. Should be able to find them using the search bar at the top right of the page.

Also for what its worth, I wouldnt say the HVAC blower in these truck is super strong to begin with. I mean Ive never had a problem, but its not very noticeable until its on high. It still moves air though

Cabin filter, if it looks good...
Blower motor plug, unplug it and inspect it, sometimes the contacts get burnt...
Blower motor resistor and its plug, inspect it, sometimes they get burnt...
With the blower motor switch on high check the amount of voltage at the blower motor, it should be 12+volts, if it is replace the blower motor.
    IMO of course.

I couldn't agree more. My 2015 Tacoma air flow is nothing to write home about. It's been that way from day one. Both my '06 Avalon and the wifes '14 4Runner flow a lot more air.

While this may not help with your specific blower volume question, it's certainly worthy of your attention for other reasons.
