I got myself a 2012 DC SB TRD Sport 6SPD and I have noticed that upon acceleration from a stop, at a stop, and deceleration coming to a stop that I hear some sort of creaking noise from the front dash below the heater controls / front of the center console ahead of the shift assembly. I tend to hear it more often when when the temperature is colder outside but still can be heard when it's warmer. When I 1st got the truck I didn't hear it. However as i've put the mileage on it (8400 miles) it's become more and more frequent to hear. I've brought it in to the dealer a couple times but being a sound that's not a 100% of the time and intermittent they can't seem to duplicate the issue. Sooooo I am tossing this thread on the forums in hopes that someone else has come across the same issue? Anyone with some suggestions?;););)

How loud is it? do you think you would hear it in a video made on your phone? If so, and if you have a smart phone start a video recording every time you drive and you should be able to capture it within a few days. Take that to the dealership and show it to them. Just a suggestion.

Yeah I'll have to give that a shot with my SIII one of these days and just store them on the phone. Good Idea!
