I have 06 taco and when I use the a/c, heat or just the fan it makes noise on the low settings. Any fix for this besides buying a whole unit?

If it is like a leaf fluttering around or a ticking it would be the fan motor needing replacement. The Dealer replaced mine for the same issue.

Thank you that's it exactly. Is it expensive?

I would have to dig trough the paperwork but I thought it was a little over $170 or so. You might find a shop willing to do it for cheaper.

Aw man, mine has been doing this for a long time now and I've tried to dig in there to see if there was a leaf or something stuck in the fan. But replace the motor? $170?

I'll just turn up the radio.

I said the same thing but once you notice it ... its like a spot on your favorite shirt ( You just cant help but know its there). Also I had warranty cover it, I will double check the price and post later of it is much different.

Yeah it really is like a spot on your shirt. I have tried everything to fix it at home too. Nothing works.
