I thought I was going crazy, but now after this happened again this morning, I figured I would ask. I noticed a few weeks ago when I got into my truck, that both map lights and dome light were on. I turned them off and thought it was odd, because I haven't actually turned them on since having the truck. Last week, after getting into my truck I noticed that both front map lights were on, again, I thought this was very odd, especially since I don't use them. I've noticed this a few other times as well but just didn't think much of it...Then this morning, After getting to work and locking my truck, I looked in and noticed that one of my map lights was on? I know for a fact it wasn't on when I left the house, because it was dark when I left the house and I would have noticed a light being on in the cab, and I didn't touch the light. Am I going crazy? Could there be a short somewhere?

Ok just to clarify. The lights automatically come on as you approach the vehicle (If you have smart key). That is a feature. Just want to make sure your not confusing a feature to a problem

Yes, the lights come on as they are set to "door". But i'm talking about after The truck is locked or after I'm inside the truck and start the ignition.

The courtesy lights will turn on when you enter the vehicle. Once you start it they will turn off. After you turn the vehicle off the courtesy lights will turn on.
If that bothers you. Go to setup. Vehicle. Vehicle customization. Lights settings. Interior lights off timer and switch it off.

I think OP is saying that the lights turn on randomly while driving with nothing triggering them like door opening, lock/unlock.

You may have an electrical short somewhere. These door jamb switches usually ground out to complete door ajar circuit warning, so it may be the same triggering the lights for you. I'd recommend taking it in.
