    Like I said...

    Subbed for durability reports.

My guess is the stuff doesn't cure on the vinyl pad.

Well that won't matter, because like he said, it's gonna be covered with leather when his seats come anyhow.

Except that he couldn't wait for the covers, and now every time he drives until the covers show up, his arm is going to be covered in black goo.

    Too many to list now.
I wouldn't have waited either most likely. Us young'ns are bred impatient. I like the interior man, I'd have gone for a matte finish myself I think but that looks pretty sweet. Hope it stays clean. The gloss you'll have to fight the dust I bet. A bold move painting everything inside the truck.

And who are you again? Did you add anything to this thread besides saying," trolls," and calling me a rookie? Nope.

You must be an expert on painting surfaces. More than me...who actually does auto painting.

Listen here rookie, you don't need to push your weight around with your 18k post. I can see he uneven spots. Looks like OP's interior came out to a Fisher price toy finish. It just looks weird. When painting the interior,do it right or it'll look like shet in the long run.

No offense to the OP,but this is an open forum. Posting something up is free game for criticism. I would've made this a 2-3 day project just to letthe paint dry, cure, then sand down for a smooth finish. A little patience can go a long way.

Thank you for your constructive criticism. I like the slick look for now, if I change my mind later I can always paint again :)

I did with vh nightshade paint over the controls. You can see them light up when the lights are turned on.

Doesn't strike me as a good idea. Interested in seeing how it holds up...vehicle interiors see a lot of repetitive abrasion from use, and manufacturers specifically select materials that hold up well to this...

I don't think a paint coating will, at least not rattle can. A powdercoat may have better chances, but really, these types of plastics need to be colored during the production process.
