    Hi guys,

My buddies were mocking my cassette player in 2020
Just curious what did you do to your truck to improve storage and stereo system..
Tacoma is notorious for poor design if you compare them to Hilux or even L79.
I am mostly interested about cordless set up and storages ideas

    Welcome to TW! :hattip:

As far as storage, I don't know what to tell you; For a stereo system, I recommend a double-DIN touch-screen head unit so you can install a backup camera!

I think Alpine still make really reasonably priced decks. Unless you need a backup camera spend the money on the deck. Especially if your paying for the install.

I don't think they stopped putting tape decks in cars/trucks until 2011. That's insane. Still, it's a nice place to put my work badge when not in use.

First person I've seen with the same head unit I have. Still the best factory fit and look replacement unit on the market in my opinion.

This is the ALPINE I remember...how many of you had this poster on your wall growing up?!
I'm not a big fan of the Alpine radios anymore. I miss the big green buttons.
When you had Auto Reverse, you were doin it!

You'll get that with any double din unless it has a motorized faceplate to adjust the viewing angle.

    Here's mine -

Thanks for the pic. This is the best fit I've seen, am convinced it's the way to go. Cheers.

What is that arm-rest thing between the back seats?

    It’s a subwoofer box.
