    Hi Everyone,

I've had a bit of a strange issue. Every once in a while, when I lock my truck with my key fob sometimes it doesn't flash to let me know its been locked. And after repeated clicks (when I know it is locking, because I can hear the doors lock) it still won't flash.

However, leave it for a few hours, and come back and it might work, or it might not.

    Its rather bizarre,
    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Pickett

yes, because I can and have locked the car (and I'm pretty sure it won't lock unless the doors are all closed).

Any thoughts on this? It just happened again tonight after leaving the car for an afternoon. It locks fine, it just won't flash

On my 2005 if the light switch is left in either the parking light or headlight position when I turn off the truck, the lights won't flash with the key fob.

This may or may not have something to do with my aftermarket remote start - but is the case with my truck.

Doors not closed properly is my guess. The back access doors. Or the door switch is not being made properly every time.

Flashing light output (+12v) on alarm unit intermittenly going bad? Check that wire connected to the parking lights with a multimeter while arm/disarming and see if there is voltage.

This type of thing can happen when the battery is starting to die in the fob. Otherwise, it could be a defective fob.
