    I tested the air pump an removed that piece of sponge that filters air.Will those external filters you hook up on the outside work,or can I make a filter that can go inside that plastic end piece maybe,2nd pic?

    Predator tube steps, Ranch Hand grill guard, Magnaflow CatBack exhaust, Toyota tool box & bed mat, 2LO Module by @Up2NoGood, Rearview Compass/Temp Mirror, Tune by @JustDSM.
    Doesn't look like a UNI filter but if it's the correct size to fit the inlet port on the air pump it should work fine, the UNI filter used in the mod is nothing more than a crankcase breather filter similar to the one you have pictured.
