I keep seeing this Uni filter on the air pump on the 2.7s. Is it worth doing? Not that I'm worried about being set back $15, but is there any benefit to this mod?

the benefit is to get rid of the crappy foam "filter" inside of that unit and avoid a ~$1400 replacement. Look up "Secondary Air Injection" for some interesting reading...

Yup, 1 inch uni crank case breather works great. Also MAKE SURE TO OPEN THE TOP OF THE PUMP (single torx screw in the center top) and remove the shit stock foam piece.

So do we have to clean and oil these Uni filters like a K&N?
