Happy holidays. Just saying hello! I just hopped in a 2012 tacoma access cab 5spd sr5 5lugger. Not new to tacomas though..

I purchased a 2010 prerunner access cab 5spd 4cyl with graphite interior in 2010 new. I loved it. But I got bored quick, sold it and bought a 05 BMW M3 :burnrubber:. Well, to my much dissatifaction - I had to get rid of my dream car :(. It was time to settle down and downsize due to an upcoming move and a few additions to the household. So I ended up back in a tacoma. 333hp to 160=:turtleride:

I wanted the same truck again, but unbeknownst they dont offer it anymore in manual!!!. Well nonetheless I ended up in a base model - I refuse to give up manual. I love it so far though. Its superwhite, which I had before. BUT - it has the original interior I wanted in 2010, sand beige :D

Couple changes ive noticed that are awesome:

Shifts SO much better - no more 2nd gear grind.
    - Clutch is just as good, if not better. It just seems to catch better.
    - Pissed off headlights - i really enjoy the minor adjustments too them.
    - Auto dimming rear view mirror with temp and compass - very cool.
    - Maybe its because its not the prerunner, it just seems quicker than my prerunner was. Its not my M3, but i was suprised a little.
    - Back up camera - it has guides now! Totally dig it.

    Planned mods -

    - I cant stand the 15" wheels, they look like a :crapstorm:.

    - I am at odds in whether to drop it and put new wheels on or leave it at the stock height and put some 15x8's with 30x9.5's on it. -
    - Alpine deck is already on order. I hate stock toyota radios.
    - Painting the grill superwhite - not a fan of the plastic chrome look
    - Painting or removing the rear bumper to replace it with a superwhite bumper, once again not a fan of the chrome look.

Well im done with my novel. Hope to have good times with this forum. Just saying hello!

Yeah man its awesome! My BMW had it too, the only bad thing is when they break they leak crap all over your interior if you dont fix it quickly enough.

My bad. Will have some up tomorrow! I keep looking at it like its nothing special because im embarrased by the wheels lol. I hate the stockers, i cant believe toyota hasnt put a different wheel on there yet. Im thinking of 15x7's with 30x9.5's verrry very soon.
