Intro with a few questions

hello everyone,
i just purchased a 2007 TRD sport 2wd two days ago. naturally, with all the vehicles i've had, the first thing i did was look up a forum and now i'm here.
i have already got an appointment for 20% tint, installed a roll-up tonneau cover and put in Husky liners. next up is an intake system. i'm leaning toward K&N simply because i've had a couple of their intakes. although from searching this forum i came across the urd intake and it does seem like it would be the best for performance. my only concern is the fact that you have to cut off a piece of the metal. i know that typically your warranty can't be voided with a intake, but won't they have a problem with the fact i am cutting on the metal? any suggestions would be appreciated
