    I have an 05 PreRunner Sport. Had it since new, I've been happy with it other than the Steering Flutter and "pop" in the drive train. I searched the problem and found you folks. We also own an 03 4Runner 2wd Limited and have been completely happy with the truck.

    welcome to tw!!! to fix the steering flutter...you need a new updated spring for the steering rack, and for the leaf springs....a set of $25 helper springs from autozone oughtta take care of that. hope you get em' squared away!:)

    Thanks for the welcome. I have already done the TSB spring fix, problem persists and is known, the pop is the driveshaft/slip yoke I posted this info on another forum. My truck is a pretty stock Indigo Blue Double Cab Sport PreRunner.
