iOS 11 causing HU crashes?

i got mine and love the charger. so awesome! i do have problems with entune... so effin pissed right now.

 

New 11.1 dev beta! I’ll let you all know if I’m still having problems...I expect I am though!

 

I have yet to have any issues since updating to iOS 11.0.1. I’m not going to go as far as saying it’s for sure fixed but I have yet to have the issue since updating. I’ve driven a lot of miles and made quite a few calls so far

 

I got a entune update today. Don't know what the changes are. Hopefully it didn't screw anything up

I have a 7plus and a 2016 tacoma. Updated to the new iOS and it no longer shows the music info on the screen in the truck. Also a pain bc when I pick up the phone it doesn’t show pandora or spotify playing or the controls for it. I have to unlock the phone and go to the app to control it now. Pain in the butt

 

Was this why my head unit rebooted a few times when I called someone?

 

Sure is. 11.0.1 seems to have fixed the issue for me.

11.0.2 is back to bring broken for me. First call I got crashed it.

I didn’t have any issues with 11.0.1 but have had issues with both 11 & 11.0.2

 

I just started running into issue when I updated to 11.0.2. My phone will connect, and play my music through Bluetooth. But, nothing display, and my controls on my wheel wont work with the music app (skip tracks, and change channels). Anyone else run into similar issues?

 

Yup I was having issues with 11.0.2. Running 11.1 public beta 2 currently and haven’t seen any issues with it.

 

When I'm playing Pandora through BT and I want to turn the volume up with the steering wheel it will stop the music and shut off Pandora. Driving me nuts. I have to reboot my iPhone for it to work normally.

 

I had this same issue along with other issues after a beta version of iOS. Somehow convinced apple to warranty my phone. Restored from backup and still the same issues. Then decided to wipe the phone and start from scratch (pain in the ass)

It's been 4 days and I haven't had any HU issues.

 

Commonly known issue in the Apple community that restoring from ANY form of backup causes issues down the road. Always set up from new.

Update - I am on 11.1 dev beta 2 and it's worse than ever. Damnit Apple. Or Toyota. Not sure who to blame.

 

I think Apple is to blame on this one. Could just be a beta issue? I'll report back any issues if they arise.

 

yea...ever since i upgraded, my photos will not open when i plug iPhone in and my email went bananas yesterday....had to hard boot phone to get it working....and now, the iphone 6 pls will not auto focus properly....have been on iPhone for last week every day for 2-3 hrs each time.....dont know what is going on.....and they don't either....

 

I updated to the 11.0.3 now and music info will show on truck screen after I restart my phone but then layer it goes back to not working and I have to restart again

 

Yep same here. Having issues with music playback now which I never had before on top of entune crashing when making or receiving calls

 

I’ve been just disconnecting my entune on my phone when I get in my truck. Same thing as some others here, I’ll start to play music from Apple Music, it won’t let me switch songs from the steering wheel or the head unit, it doesn’t display the titles, and it keeps wanting to turn on Pandora. When I open the entune app on my phone and hit disconnect, Apple Music works just fine then.

Is there any reason to use the entune app, I’m thinking of just deleting it?
