Iphone 5 issue

On regular calls the person on the other end can't hear me , if I use speaker phone they can hear me . Siri can hear me but voice memos doesn't hear anything

Doesn't make any difference with my Lifeproof case on or off

Any thoughts on what is busted ?

 

I'm having the same issue oz. have to use speakerphone or my headphones

How old is your 5. My 5 lasted 3 years, then things started crapping out on me. I had the same problem about a month ago before I switched to a 5s.

 

Almost 3 years , I can upgrade now , might get a 6

 

I wouldnt upgrade to the 6 or 6s, waste of money. Wait some time and the next version will be out. Reports are coming in the "7th" gen will have 4k video recording. And I dont plan on Apple making the iphone any bigger than the 6s. Upgrade to the 5s like i did, you get the fingerprint reader which works much better after the last update, and that tiny flash was replaced with a very nice bright white led.

 

I get $100 off of the regular upgrade cost

To a 6, 6s or 5s? Cause bestbuy bought my 5 back with scratches and all for $250, and the 5s is plenty big.

Then get a 5s. Now if you have problems seeing, I would suggest the 6 or 6s for now. Or just live with what you have and wait it out for the next gen.

 

I'll be getting a 6 if I upgrade
