Irritating Noise

    When driving my 2003 Tacoma I hear what sounds like a chain being dragged on the road under the rear of the truck. I have removed the rear drums,greased the u-joints and ran my hands along everything under the rear of the truck and I can't find any reason for this noise. I recently put disc brake pads on so I know the noise isn't coming from there.
    Please give me some ideas what could be causing this noise.
