First of all hello ..new to the group ..first post ...and it's a big one lol....I have a 1996 2wd single cab ...I want to do a IRS swap and coilovers all the way around ...I have access to a 2007 g35 diff and cradle ....I am pretty capable of doing fab work and what have you ..just wondering if anyone had done anything like this in the past ..or if there is a build that would be easier than what I have in mind...also wanting to do a bucket seat swap ...what do you think of some seats from a Scion tc

Theres a dude on yt who did the g35 swap. Cant remember his channel. Made a sick drift missle, rear cage frame etc, then totalled it on track. So it goes. You got this. Make a thread if you go for it! Would love to do the same someday on a 2wd.

This is going to be cool. I'd love to see the progress if you don't mind sharing.

I've been looking to swap new seats into my truck. I think Scion TC seats would be good.

Personally, I've been looking for something like BMW M3 Coupe seats.
Those seats have a computer in the seat that has to match with a computer in the car. However, I think I can wire power directly to the seat switches and bypass the computer and disconnect the airbags.
The big downside is weight and when I do find them for less money they sell very quickly.

Had to change all the wheel studs to to longer ones to get these wheels on ...wasn't to hard ...just time consuming PXL_20240709_212830500.MP.jpg PXL_20240709_212842271.MP.jpg

Very cool! Definitely make a build page when you get started. Needs slammed on its nuts and wrapped in a cool color!

After mountains of reading and videos ....I have come up with the idea of using a 5th gen Camaro rear cradle and diff ...for the simple reason that the shocks are all self contained in this unit ..and I would not have to build shock towers added to the frame ...also it will give the back a few more inches of width ...which im not completely opposed to ....thoughts ????

Personally i dig a minitruck that tucks wheel. If fab doesnt feel approachable right now, that camaro swap is prob a sick move. Bet its easy to find a 4.10 rear too. Certainly lots of availability in higher ratios too
