    I have had that happen once or twice when the engine was cold but it doesnt seem to do it anymore now.

    My 2017 has been the same, a little quirky day one ( nothing major), by 5,000 miles it's smoother. Downshift with minimal throttle, and hangs onto a gear just a little longer then day one - works for me
