    And not one single "fiery crash" could be verified by the "black boxes" to be anything other than a floor mat jammed onto the pedal.

    You do realize that the "fix" for this "manufacturing defect" was to hack 2" off of the bottom of the pedal, and flash the ECU so if throttle and brake are applied at the same time, the drive-by-wire system shuts down to idle.

    There was no "problem" other than a few idiot drivers too stupid to put the trans in neutral, and a US government and media bent on boosting Detroit at the expense of Toyota.
